Default fuel consumption 9.9 hp

just got a 9.9 big foot mercury engine for my 6800 lb catalina 27 sailboat. any
one have any idea on the fuel consumption at full out speed in mild conditions-
1-2 ft waves? jim

About 1.4 gph at 5300 rpm ... going by info at this Nissa site ...

Now ... it does not matter if your boat is making headway or not, you will
use x gph at y rpm. And, if you run WOT for long periods, you will soon be
getting an exceptional 0 gph ... but at 0 rpm ... :-)
