Default Clamptite tool

I saw one of these at the Miami Boat show and was impressed. Does anyone
have any experience with this tool and the quality of the hose clamp it
makes.
Thanks in Advance

Is that the little wire twisting tool thingie? I saw it at the Houston boat
show... looks interesting, but I would imagine it would cut into any hose
over time. I would guess it might be OK for emergencies, but personally I
wouldn't use it for a long term installation.

Ever wonder about those people who spend $2.00 apiece on those little
bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backwards: NAIVE

If this is the tool I think it is, wire twister thingy, I purchased one
about 10 years ago at the SD boat show..

I only tried it once and found I didn't have enough room in the area of the
engine where I needed it.. I put it in my emergence tools kit, along with
my banding tool..

Saw one too, thought it was a bit pricey for what it is.

I haven't seen them since I purchased mine.. I think I paid about $20 for
mine, with one small spool of wire.

I saw the thing at the MBS Strictly Sail Tent last week and it looked
like a simple tool to fabricate and expensive to buy ($50)

I tried some searchs on wire hose clamps and found tons of wire hose
clamps but kept playing with search criteria until I found their
website,
here it is :

http://198.63.56.18/

check out the sites links

I would be less concerned about the wire cutting into the hose because
multiple wraps would spread the load, what would concern me more is
corrosion of the wire as the diameter is not all that signifigant.
maybe monel would be a better option ???
