There is no gps in a JRC 1000...just an interface to a gps. The interface
is the standard one so any gps with the 0183 connection will work. You might want to check the sentences sent by the receiver to see that most of the ones received by the radar are present. The list is in your manual. Jim "no one cares" wrote in message news ![]() Can I use any GPS antenna for my JRC 1000 radar, or must I use the JRC model? Have tried reading the manual, and can't determine if I can or not. I wonder if I can disconnect the radar antenna, and use the gps function as only a gps? I'm going to try and run it today without the antenna, and see what happens. any info appreciated. Joe |
