Default Which Garmin???

Have a Humminbird that has been letting me down for the last season that it
finally going to be replaced. Have decided on getting a Garmin but can't
decide between the 160 or the 240. Anybody out there with a boat that has
both or has used both got any tips? Generally they look like they operate
very similar with the exception being 240x240 versus 160x160. Thanks in
advance.

Tight lines,
Bill

The specs are identical. It's all in the resolution and a $100.00 bill.

Check out the Garmin website and do a comparison selecting the 160 and the 160
Blue. For some reason, the price for the Blue is about $10.00 less and it
offers more power, greater depth, and a dual frequency transducer. Go figure...
