Micrologic DGPS Receiver Model ML-9100
Trying to get a Micrologic DGPS receiver Model ML-9100 to be recognized by an ICOM GP360ML (Micrologic) GPS receiver. GPS sees serial data at 4800 baud from DPGS rcvr.. (Can see data on GPS com data port diagnostic). GPS port is set correctly to receive DPGS data at 4800 baud and turned on. DPGS rcvr seems to be functioning correctly, with settable parameters set correctly. Have read serial ASCII data directly from the DGPS rcvr on a latop serial com port. DPGS rcvr worked correctly with an older Micrologic Supersport GPS. A tech at ICOM told me he had "heard" that there may be a level problem of some sort with the Micrologic DGPS rcvr that could affect the GPS receiving the DPGS data correctly but could give no specifics. Is there a test program available that would generate DGPS correction data on a serial port to test a GPS rcvr directly? Have seen programs to generate NMEA data but so far not DGPS correction data. Would like to get it working even with SA off. The GP360 does not and will not have WASS software. Has anyone ever dealt with this particular problem before? Thanks for the comments. |
