Is there a thin plastic cover made for this unit? One that you's place over
the front of the unit, when not in use. Mine does not have one and don't
know if there ever was on, or if it was lost.

I didn't see one, but there may be one for a different model that iw the
same size. You might have to look under Accessories, Parts, and might even
have to read the Manual to see if there's one listed.
