Default Raymarine C Serie displays

Do you already have experience with the Raymarine C Series multifunctional
displays(radar, plotter, fishfinder in one) They show it on the Boat Holland
exhibition.

Instead of C-Map NT+ they are using now Navionics-Gold Electronic Charts.
Are their advantages or disadvantages with the use of Navionics Electronic
Charts. I have to make a decision over this weekend.

Best regards,

French sailing mag just did a back to back test of the three main charting
technologies and concluded that Navionics (esp Gold) was the best. The only
thing I don't like about them is that it is harder to get hold of the
charts. With Garmin and C-Map if you can't find anywhere to buy them
legitimately you can usually find somewhere on the internet to download them
for free. But have never managed to find Navionics charts on the internet
meaning long trip to a dealer to buy them, then his computer isn't working
or some other nonsense.

Hi,
can I have the name of this magazine? I'm curious to know what's wrong
with Garmin and C-Map.
Thanks.

It was in "Voile" magazine last month IIRC.
