My Jabsco toilet pump needs to be slowed down, what is the simplest
way to reduce speed, by voltage? It also is very noisy, hopefully reduced speed will quiet it down too. Dave Silver Belle |

Motor impeller forms air lock, have to wait for incoming water to
catch up, using shortest run with ID tubing to match pump. "Doug Dotson" wrote in message ... Why does it need to be slowed down? Doug s/v Callista "David Brooks" wrote in message om... If you have a filter on the inlet side it is probably too restrictive.

You are right I do have a strainer, it keeps the eel grass and other
small stuff out of the head, in the past without a strainer, I found grasses coming out of the head openings and odor from when they decompose. The strainer has same in and out ID with only a screen between. Gary Schafer wrote in message . .. If you have a filter on the inlet side it is probably too restrictive.
