Default What is the deal with blank Garmin data cards?

I am shopping for a couple of 64MB data cards for my 176C. I am finding
"Discount" prices from $70 to $140.
Here is the low one: http://www.gpsnow.com/gmdc.htm
Here is one more in line with the comon street price:
http://www.gpscentral.ca/accessories...edatacards.htm
And here is the high price leader:
http://focuscamera.com/sc/main_item.asp?id=964587990

Average ebay price seems to be around $90.

I am all for getting the best deal but that kind of spread makes me a
little nervous. Does Garmin make all the cards or are there some after
market cards?

You should watch the dates of the cards carefully as this may acount for
some of the price differential. Cards with older dates (ie last years or 2
years ago) should obviously be cheaper than current date cards.

If you can, wait until July (mid month). There will be a surplus of
RAM and prices will come down a lot. Likely a 30% to 50% reduction.

When buying a Data Card do NOT buy "photo disks", they are too slow.
