can garm,in map76s output compass data thru NMEA option?
"Peter Bennett" wrote
In my books, the heading is the direction the boat is currently pointing - so it is valid to speak of the heading of a stationary vessel. The direction of travel is the "track" or "course made good". Last I looked (years ago) the US Navy agreed. "Heading" is the direction the bow points, "course" is the direction the ship is going. |
