Updating or writing to Navionics Micros Chart Cartridges??
I now have a large collection of the Navionics Micro Chart Cartridges
(PCMCIA) for my Furuno RP110 plotter. Most of these are over 10 years old and I was told there was a way to get them updated (for a fee). I have searched the Navionics site and don't find any information on this. In fact there doesn't seem to be any support for this, older, technology. Does anyone have any knowledge of how this might work? Can these PCMCIA card be plugged into a computer and can the data be read or manipulated (read/write), as if it were a drive?? The reason I ask this is because I have a couple cartridges that are damaged and barely serviceable. I want to copy their content over to another cartridge (less useful area). Image copy.
