WTB. Garmin GPSMAP 200 cartridges
I reciently purchased a Garmin GPSMAP 200 , the problem is it didnt come
with any chart cartridges. Can anyone lead me to a supplier for these older cartridges, or a means to download charts to this unit. Thanks in advance, Finquest |

I don't recognize that model number, if it uses this chart chip: http://shop.garmin.com/accessory.jsp...0%2D10226%2D00 then you buy a MapSource CD-ROM, pay to unlock the desired charting, get an accessory called a USB Data Card Programmer and make your chart chips. It may also be that you can buy chips proprogrammed for your area direct from Garmin if there are still supporting the chip you use. eBay is a good place to find used chips at better prices, also the data card programmers. -- Jack Erbes in Ellsworth, Maine, USA - jackerbes at adelphia dot net (also receiving email at jacker at midmaine.com) |

The Garmin GPS MAP 200 accepts C-MAP CF 85 cartridges. A very limited
number of these cartridges are still available. You should contact our Customer Care Department at 1.800.424.2627 to see which code numbers are still available. Please note that International coverage is no longer available. Jim McQuade C-MAP |
