Speed calculation!!!
Anyone know the speed calculation or equation to calculate the speed of paddle wheel for speed transducer(SPEED2100, navman product)?

Throw it overboard and time it's progress between two marks on deck a known distance apart. Calculate water speed. Set conversion constant variable value in software or analog computer (variable resistor) so indicator agrees. Make adjustments for high and low speed variations in accuracy. Terry K |
