Default New pedestal pod

I've been looking at Navpods but they don't fit exactly and I find them
quite expensive. Are they worth the money ? Any better (cheaper)
alternatives ?

I have been very happy with mine, I use two. One for mounting a E-80
chartplotter at my nav station, and a second for mounting an E-80 and
wto instruments at my helm.

They are constructed very well, the fasterners are oversized and give
me comfort if it gets wacked or fallen over by an unbalanced crew
member it will give a little and not break, great fit and finish.

In my search for a new piedestal pod, I've been told that a company named
something like "lumar" is doing pods (similira to navpods).

Do any of you know that company ?

A cheer for John Burton and his decades of work building massively on
the foundation laid by Len Lewery and Les Marsh (hence LewMar).

I'd be 8 winches shy without them.
