After he stated, several times, that 'if Obama does it, then it's the right thing to do', the radio host asked if he was an 'Obama Zombie'. When the caller asked what that was, the host played the cut. Laughed my ass off. -- A Harry Krause truism: "It's not a *baby* kicking, beautiful bride, it's just a fetus!" |

When you were in the Army and a senior officer told you to do something, I'll bet you thought it was the right thing to do. Are you as stupid as you were then? |

What a revealing statement of how you think Harry. First of all, the military isn't a democracy. It makes no difference if you happen to agree with or think it is right. One is required to obey all *lawful* orders. Second, it's not unique to the military. Lunch time conversations in many civilian jobs are often full of complaints of company rules, procedures or policies. They may not be agreed to or thought of as being "right" but they are adhered to. The only difference is that if you don't like it you can quit. In fact, as I think about it, there are more things in civilian life that I am forced to accept but don't think is "right". Eisboch |

Harry, was that supposed to be an 'analogy'? If so, it was quite stupid. 'Nuff said. -- A Harry Krause truism: "It's not a *baby* kicking, beautiful bride, it's just a fetus!" |
