Penwin ?

Tom started it.

I would not want to be in a small inflatable with orcas circling
around looking for a snack, penwin, penguin, or otherwise.

Me * needoh!

You have a wifp?

Sorry Loog, I don't' know what a wifp is. But when I was little, I had
a speech impediment.

Play on words. I was trying to think of a way to describe penguin
wins.

Get it - Pen - win?

I would not want to be in a small inflatable with orcas circling
around looking for a snack, penwin, penguin, or otherwise.

That was exaclty my thought - in particular on the bow of the boat.

Those guys could have been breakfast, lunch AND dinner for those
beasties. :)

I would have been worried that the whales would have realized how easy
it would be to turn the inflatable over to get to the penguin. You
could tell the Penguin felt comfortable around humans, this might not
have been his first time hopping aboard a boat to escape the whales.

I think the Penwin did a great job of dancing it's way though the
waters to escape the whales, and it's great to see that he hopped
right up on the inflatable for somehaven of rest and was friendly with
the crew.

What gets me though, is that the whales were right up to the
inflateable and didn't fly into the boat to get the Penwin OR say nuts
with the Penwin, I'm going for steak!"

I was wondering also why the whales didn't hit the boat. Maybe the boaters
know something we don't, but damn if I'd be out there during a blood fest
like that.

I think 'wifp' is how one with a bad lisp would pronounce 'lisp'. But, it
could be the absence of two front teeth causing that also.

But, that song is what came to mind. Remember, I'm getting old. And I was
thinking of playing golf.

That's it! (a lisp)
Had a friend who had a HELL of a speech impedement. Nice guy, didn't
mind it. But, at the time, if someone asked why you did something the
standard answer was "for the meaness". He messed that up royally!

They have penwins in Ecuador. 2nd smallest variety live in the Galapagos.
Got to swim with them, and water was a lot warmer than the Antarctic.

Oh yes, they could have easily capsized the inflatable and made a 4
course meal ot of the occupants, starting with a penwin appetizer.
Orcas are supposedly very smart. I'm surprised it didn't occur to
them.

Have you ever seen the video of two orcas playing catch with a seal
before making it a tasty treat? I think it's on YouTube somewhere.
