Why are you so concerned about removing the snow from your driveway?

:)

Good question. It ends up turning into a sheet of ice anyway. Earlier
today I told Mrs.E. that we'd be better off not plowing it because both
her
Navigator and my truck have better 4x4 traction in snow than on ice. She
looked at me like I had two heads.

That's a steep driveway for ice and the way it's pitched, I would
imagine that you get some run off from the sides which could be dicey
in long periods of cold weather.

I had to spread 9 bags of rock salt after the last storm. I hate using
that stuff, but the "environmentally friendly" stuff is about 17 bucks a
bag versus 7 bucks for rock salt.

Every try Urea? I use it all the time - works like a champ and it
fertilizes the lawn when it's all said and done. I get it from the
local farmer's coop - I think it's like $5 a 50lb bag.

Big bags of yellow snow stuff?

Lucky you.

This will make some people I know down south happy.

Don't knock the pictures. They were taken *through* glass windows. I
didn't convert them to black and white either.

HEY!!!

This will make Harry happy. Nature as it appears. Colorless.

Um...er...

I hear you. I did some leaf blowing this afternoon and the wind kept
blowing the leaves back.

Damn leaves.

~~ snerk ~~

Blew all the leaves 3 days ago. 2 days ago, looked like no blowing done.

We just did the snow thing. Took the grand kids skiing for Christmas
at 7 Springs Pa.
Perfect snow conditions. No snow anywhere but the manmade stuff on the
hill.

My grand kids doing great the first time in the snow.

Me, either.

Called my wife over to watch those. She was likewise enthralled.
She mentioned how without Youtube you's likely never see that.
Youtube is really something else. Can be very educational, besides
entertaining.
It made me want to do some study on Kansas. I got me to thinking how
the Indians and early settlers survived during the winter.
Man, Eisboch has it good with that driveway!
Just steps from the hot chocolate.
hehe.

Thanks. Ordered one.
Kansas contained some of the highlights of a long family road trip I
took in '88. I like the plains and the seas. Don't care much for
hills. Especially ones with driveways. (-:
