Default If you are...

"If you are a lobbyist coming into my administration, you can not work
in areas you lobbied for, for two years...". Now he already has
submitted two lobbyists to work *directly* in the areas they
lobbied...

Then when questioned about the issue, the new "open administration"
said, "If this is what happens every time I come here to shake hands,
I can't come here any more".

This is why nobody really trusts what this guy says, and rightly
shouldn't. Some here are right, we should wait and see, but so far, he
has backed off of his campaign promises on:
Taxes
Openness
Lobbiests
Health Care promises
Iraq
.......

The longer we wait, the more obvious it becomes, we've been had...

Obama is eitehr pretty stupid or lied. I say this as now that he is
President he is back peddling. In Canada the Liberals (left-dem equivelent)
work this way, promise a lot and then applogise later.

Yep, Obama supporters have been had. Either Obama never intended on doing
it, or he wasn't smart enough to size up the situation. So take your pick,
he lied or stupid making promises he can't keep.

I believe the later. I don't think Obama be stupid. Just a few white lies
to get elected. (pun intended)

It's the way they work here too. I remember one of the supporters here
telling me how I was going to get health care with Obama. His
administration is already backpedaling on that, just like the "last"
Clinton administration... Obama was famous during the campaign for
saying whatever he needed to say, depending on what audience he was
talking to, just that the MSM intentionally ignored it...

Bush let the country go bankrupt...probably deliberately.

Sure he did.

Why?

For the same reason Reagan spent us into oblivion without raising the
money through taxes to pay for it: to cripple the attempts of succeeding
progressive administrations to address social issues?

I want to help you. What size tin hat do you wear?

It will probably take a case of aluminum foil so just send him one so
he can customize his own. :)

that Harry has a big head.

I'll go no further.

I wear a size 8 1/2 hat.

That's a big head.

Of course, it goes without saying that it's mostly empty and devoid of
any life - a vast wasteland cavernous in size but vacant - bats hang
from the interior belfry of my head - when I sneeze the echos ring for
hours - A-380 pilots have mistaken my head for a maintenance hanger.

Just thought I'd say that before anybody else does. :)

That was an oft-discussed theory at the time...really.

Yes. That is a big head. Actually, it's bigger than what I had in mind, but
not by much.
