I think you jumped the gun. They reported that criminal prosecution
of the lawyers who crafted the memos would not take place but they
didn't rule out anyone else. There's also rumors that tne lawyers may
face disbarment proceedings.

I'm holding out for public waterboarding of Cheney, followed by
beheading on the national mall. For the lesser criminals in the Bush
Administration who pushed for torture, burial up to the neck in moist
dirt in a field full of fire ants.

The fact that the JD investigative team omitted any recommendations for
prosecution is what is newsworthy and meaningful.

Obama doesn't want it, so it won't happen. Remember, he may make "mistakes"
in judgment also.
