Moron. :) She's directing the efforts of a $30mm campaign to create housing for those who otherwise wouldn't have the opportunity -- and they both support Democrats with their campaign contributions. Excellent example of liberal compassion in action. |

Excellent example of liberal compassion in action. Ah - another fine example of extrapolation and coming to the wrong conclusion. You see Jon, we're all involved in helping others. It's not a "democrat" or a "republican" thing - it's not a "liberal" or a "conservative" thing - it's not a "christian" or "non-believer" thing - it's the right thing. And that's the difference between you and me. You see it as a black and white difference between liberals and conservatives. I see it as an opportunity to actually make a difference. You see it as an opportunity to score "political" points in a useless corner of the innertybes - I would have never even thought of checking the FEC website to see who donated to who. It doesn't matter who donated to who or what political viewpoints one has when it comes to helping others on a personal level. It's the right thing to do. I'm a conservative and proud of it. I volunteer for outreach, counsel returning combat veterans, still involved in adult literacy and while I'm retired from active volunteer fire/rescue/ems service, I'm still active as a member and still occasionally drive a truck or take a shift if there is a shortage of EMTs. So I do my part and it's not about being a democrat or a republican - conservative or liberal - christian or non-christian. It's about being a citizen. |

It's hard for some to understad but you don't have to be affiliated with anybody just to do something nice. |

Most of us don't like to comment on other posters family members...unless complimentary of course. The posters themselves...fair game..... so if you want to make fun of Toms' hairdo...do so at your own risk. ;-) |
