Default Feinstein defends Pelosi - and Bush Administration...

"Senate Intelligence Committee Chairwoman Dianne Feinstein, a
Democrat, backed Pelosi.

"I think it's a tempest in a teapot really to say: Well, Speaker
Pelosi should have known all of this, she should have stopped this,
she should have done this or done that," she said.

"I don't want to make an apology for anybody, but in 2002, it wasn't
2006, 07, 08 or 09. It was right after 9/11, and there were in fact
discussions about a second wave of attacks."

What's even more interesting is that some Democrats and liberal
commentators are begining to get a clue becasue some of their leaders
were in on the intelligence - including Feinstien. Cheney has
indicated that these methods stopped two major attacks - one that was
directed at SoCal and DNI Dennis Blair and the CIA have corroborated
that in general terms - no specifics.

Pelosi lied to keep her left-wing support in place by lying about it.
Feinstein tried to defend Pelosi, but this may wind up damaging both
of them among the MoveOn/International ANSWER wing of the Democratic
Party.

Watch this to die out quickly and it probably won't be prosecuted in
any sense of the word - otherwise, we'd have an empty Congress.

Therein you have the difference. Those on the left are willing to
speak up. If this was coming from the right, the minions of right
leaning commentators would line up right behind the scumbag.

Not true. Only Republicans openly support torture.
That's not to say "conservative," which was traditionally "the right."
Republican and "conservative" don't go together any more.
Wall Street and the evangelicals have co-opted the party.
Most real conservatives fled the GOP and call themselves
"libertarians." Bob Barr is an example. Anti-torture.
That's a pretty good Dem strategy - GOP - The Pro-Torture Party.
What's left of the GOP is party hacks.
Same thing happened to the Dems.
They used to be the "party of Labor."
Since Clinton they are mostly Wall Street party hacks.
Pelosi, Daschle, et al, are no better than Bush/Cheney.
That's all loose, but tight enough.
Obama might be the first true-blue American to come on the
scene in a long time. Pro-American Worker, Anti-Gay Marriage.
Time will tell.
Somebody will ask that timeless question,
"Are you better off than you were 4 years ago?
The answer will say it all.
It's the economy, stupid.

Sorry, should have said Republicans instead of "right."

The significant portion of right-leaning media are all mouthpieces for
the GOP.

Which is interesting because there aren't too many evangelicals on
Wall Street, not that I'm disagreeing with your premise.
