I tried the "street view" in Google maps.
My kid was over and mentioned it, so he walked me through it in 10 seconds. Type in your address, hit enter, then click street view. My Corsica was parked in front, and my wife knew when the shots were taken by looking at her flowers. Last year, mid-summer, mid-day. She estimated 1 PM, June 25th give or take one day. The kid said they must drive down streets with a van taking a vid. I went down Beckwith to Washington, then to Golf Road using the arrows. Very cool. Gonna take a spin around the corner soon, see how that damn PVC that pipe I have laying on the lawn looks. The driveway crack looks pretty bad. Now the world knows about it. The kid said there's been a lawsuit. By a guy who was sprawled unconscious on his lawn. Drunk, pants down. He lost. --Vic |

I saw the vehicle...a compact car with a tower on the roof supporting multiple cameras. Darn...knew I should have painted the house last fall...it had rained most of the summer so I didn't do a thing. I start scraping tomorrow and of course the most weathered side faces the street. |

Why doesn't that surprise me that you would have a house in such a state of disrepair, that you are worried about how it will look from the street in Google Street View. It has to be in terrible shape to show up on Google Streets. It seems very you. -- Reginald P. Smithers III, Esq. This Newsgroup post is a natural product. ![]() I saw the guy driving down the street, and stopped him. (tight neighborhood) He gave me a link to go to to keep from having my house in street view. Apparently others checked in too, as only the corners, and not the streets are in it. Den 48FT Yachtfisher |

How does one keeping his house paint from peeling make him a "girlieman"? Most people who aren't lazy actually do maintenence BEFORE that happens. |
