Fact is the D's and Republicans are not the parties of my generation or my parents generation. And if neither changes to the middle, both may be the Whigs of this century. People are getting ****ed about the absolute corruption of both parties. The handing of the country to Wall Street is one prime example. The overspending of both parties. I went to Glen Canyon dam last week in my travels. Started in 1950's by Ike. Finished in 1964. One of the biggest users of concrete in dam construction. Required building roads and a bridge over the Colorado river to even construct the dam. $310,000,000 to build. That amount does not even build a 3 mile section of mass transit train track these days. The huge inflation over the last 40 years and the massive inflation facing the country due to the "Stimulus" spending. Sorry Bill, that's a serious load of crap. Construction spending has been going through the roof for 10 years or more. Has nothing whatsoever to do with stimulus. People are both ****ed and scared. The only way the Dem's may stay in power is a huge amnesty program for illegal's and giving lots of benefits to the lower economic class all out of proportion to their needs. Are you listening to Michael Savage? I find this hilarious since the R's have been using the underachieving underclass for years to keep them in office with drivel about personal responsibility, abortion, gay rights, etc. A little political division done by the D's shouldn't upset you so much. At a birthday party last night, a younger lady got really upset about Obama and his policies. She has lost a business due to the economic climate, and is worried that she will lose her home. And that relates to Obama how? Sheesh. And then the Obama Government will give loans to those formally illegal people to buy a house, most likely her's for 1/3 the price she paid. Is this more from Savage or some other delusional fruitcake? People who can not afford the house at even that price and there will be programs to prevent their foreclosure. Where are the foreclosures on those renegotiated loans to Acorn people? Oy, you've just gone off the deep end. Acorn. 80% of the renegotiated loans are in default again within 3 months. The taxpayers are screwed. They may not have enough votes to stop a massive give away of their tax money to keep the present rulers in power. Then where are we as a country? Mexico North? Growing Bannanas maybe. How are renegotiated loans affected us as taxpayers, unless we're the ones renegotating? Did you go on road trip and listen only to AM radio? Actually listened to very little radio on the trip. Most areas do not have radio. And you seem to also have a reading comprehension problem. I said the inflation facing us from the "Stimulus" package. Maybe you need to listen to more than Air America. Oh, AM radio signal are very good at bouncing around the atmosphere so getting Rush in any part of the country is pretty easy. I actually tune in all sort of news, even entertainment stations like Fox. It makes me sick but I listen to it because I like to try to undertand the idiots in our society. |

![]() Something I found out about commercial rated versus residential types. A few years back I bought a Scag commercial mower. The difference is the blade tip speed. Residential type mowers are restricted by federal regulations to some maximum tip speed at full throttle. Commercial types are not, and the tip speed of the blade is typically much higher. Makes for better cuts and smaller mulch. Eisboch |
