![]() "Eisboch" wrote in message ... "HK" wrote in message m... That's a funny list of music venues and professional grade musical instrument shops. You're what, about 40 miles from Boston? How often do you drive into Boston to see live, top-drawer professional musical performances? Once every two years? When I lived in Albany, we drove over to Lenox at least three times one summer. The Julliard String Quartet is playing there later this month...are you going? I would if I lived where you do...what is it, a two hour drive? I actually saw two Maldonado guitars for sale in a local music instrument store in the DC some years ago. Got anything like that at your shoppe? Armik plays a Maldonado...ever even *hear* of either, up there in Duxbury? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dP0GCVhLMUY or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7RCPY...eature=related Sorry to break your heart, but yes, I have heard of Maldonado guitars and am familiar with the history of them. You see, I've done some research on guitars including the purchase of two comprehensive encyclopedias dedicated to guitar brands, types, manufacturers and their histories. I study them just about daily. That said, I'd have no reason or purpose to buy and inventory a Maldonado. It would collect dust. My budding music shop business is geared towards a range of instruments of interest to the majority of people, not an elitist, narrow minded snob who turns his nose up to anything that does not meet *his* standards. You know. Normal, decent people. I also desire to offer decent instruments that are affordable. Currently the most expensive guitar in my inventory is a mint, 2006 Martin HD28V. It is a vintage series Martin, built to the pre-WWII Martin D-28 specifications. I acquired it and another guitar from a professor (jazz composition) at the Berklee College of Music in Boston who I had met for another reason about a year ago. He and his wife visited our home in Duxbury Friday and we enjoyed a couple of hours discussing guitars and music in general. You see, we also have access to some cultural influences. We are just not snobs about it. Eisboch Hairy isn't a snob... he's just an asshole, that lies to top it off. You know, a low life scumbag. --Mike |

I don't give a **** whether you or anyone else agrees with me or not. Agreeing has nothing to do with it. What does: your devolving into the same slime behavior as your BFF floridajim. Got it? Or do you need it explained again? -- The modern GOP is little more than an army of moral absolutists led by a gang of moral nihilists. Harry, after reading quite a few threads here recently it's quite obvious that you're the epitome of a bored, old troll whose sole purpose here is to provide a source of entertainment for yourself. Part of this "fun" involves finding avenues to gather personal information on others - so that you can eventually use it "down the road" by making personal insults and derogatory remarks when people disagree with you during debates. You also like to use your knowledge and interpretation of the English language to attempt to "manipulate" and "play" others. Quite obvious. Problem is - you don't realize that you are, in many cases, intellectually outmatched by many subscribers to this newsgroup. Please let us in on your political affiliation, grade level completed and professional standing. That way we can understand your ability and legitimacy to pass judgment on another's intellect. It's very obvious. I suspect you are too narrow-minded and think too highly of yourself to come to this recognition on your own. They are on to your "game" and to "you" and as a result, you end up making a fool of yourself more often than not. You're not even in the same league as some here. You, for example? From your writing, it seems you're also outmatched by a good many here. One has to wonder about your ability to judge? For whatever it's worth, stop playing your current "game", climb off your high-horse, stop looking down your nose at everyone and open your mind a bit. You may actually find that you'll enjoy some discussions and debates with a greater sense of interest and enthusiasm and more importantly, earn a level of respect from others...which frankly, appears you have very little of. Wow, so insightful! How long have you been a reader of rec.boats? Whose writing do you enjoy? Tom's, Richard's, Vic's, Reggie's, The Freak, Pontoon, Frogwatch, Loogy? If you're smart, you also may be able to broaden your horizons a bit by learning from other people's experiences and knowledge. If you're not, you'll end up losing all the good people here that have a tremendous amount of knowledge to share since they will wake up and realize it's a waste of their time and conclude that the true cancer in here is *you*. There's plenty of people who concern themselves with boating subjects and remain above the fray. Those that Harry spars with aren't those folks. But I don't expect you'll be speaking to any of them in this thought-filled manner. Takes two to tango Tom. |

If you're "way beyond" all of this, then continue with your bored, old troll tactics for the rest of your life. You've been doing it now for what? 10 plus years or so? Got that? Or would you like it explained again? I'll probably get a little hate mail for saying this, but ............. I've got to tell you, Tom, that, for a new contributor, you have Krausie sized up pretty well. Anymore, he's just a play toy that we bang around like a pinata. Unfortunately there are no prizes inside that empty old dried up shell of a man. The last of the more tolerant folks here have recently given up trying to converse with him on an intelligent level. He has nothing left to offer. He us a used up hack. The unions have certainly taken their toll on him since the only spiel we here from him lately is union rhetoric and cut and paste left wing blog messages. Since you are new here Tom, you probably don't know that the worthless POS named Krause is a draft dodging coward. Just thought I'd clue you in. |

Hey Hairy, You have so many of us in your bozo bin now. Would you consider throwing us an annual tent party. You know. Something like the one your landlady is throwing for her friends. You, of course, can be the caterer for this event as well. BTW: Is your landlady so cheap that she won't hire a real professional union caterer? I know you two are thrifty but your boy Obama wants you to put some greenbacks into circulation to help his causes and of course his friends. So loosen up those purse strings and spend....spend....spend. |

But, they actually think for themselves. |
