I used to change the oil and spark plugs on my car once a week. Cut
open the oil filters to see what was in side.

What kind of car was this? Was it used raced and run at High RPM or
was this car used for your daily commute?

It was a sprint car.

There is a world of difference between running a car/boat at racing
RPM's and someone who runs his car at 2400 rpm and his boat at 3400.
Changing a sprint car weekly is prudent, changing your family car or
boat weekly is obsessive.

A bit obsessive, eh? :)

I've put 31 engine hours on my Parker so far this season. I'll be
changing the engine oil and filter at 50 hours or so.

Please note that Interstate 90 will be closed this weekend across
South Dakota. This closure will allow the Federal Government free
access to haul a 200 ton piece of coal to Mt. Rushmore so that
President Obama can be added to the Presidents on the monument.

That's impossible, unless you don't sleep. You post here *all day* *every
