Nah, I am a left wing conservative.

Capt. Bill,
I have just been reading the NG and following the example set by the
regulars. If you don't like the drivel I post, you need to let people

know
that it is not acceptable. As long as the majority of regulars like to
clutter the NG with drivel this is what you get.

Ok, so are you a libertarian or not?

Capt. Bill

Willie Cole doesn't cotton to humor real well so expect a perfectly

serioius
response...

You hit the nail:

Most people could use a stick extraction from time to time. In Bill's case
it's more like a log and it'll require an intervention.

I have observed over many years that, were we to make generalisations, power
boaters tend to identify themselves as more "conservative," whilst sailors
tend to think of themselves as more "liberal."

I know what my observations have been but I wonder what others here might
think.

since you asked, I am just the opposite. if there was a tree in the
middle of Buzzards Bay, I would zoom up to it in my stink pot, stop
long enough to hug it and then zoom on.
good luck with your querry

Real, Libertarians would use a Submarine....Never seen in public, somehow,
always making waves.

So what kind of boat would a Libertarian pilot?

FWIW we're starting with a single screw power boat.

df,
I was not making fun of you or libertarians, jps was talking about how
Libertarians are so self centered they don't care about anyone else, and I
was showing him the irony of his making that statement while at the same
time polluting this NG with his OT drivel.

I was making a joke of their "libertarian" ways. Bill, if you're going to
make an allowance for humor in your life, you're going to have to consider
that some things aren't meant to be taken literally. I know you have it in
you.

Now, let's take a deep cleansing breath. Good, again. Yes, that's right.
Again. Again. Again.

There, do you feel any better?

Now, read the passage again and realize I had my tongue firmly planted in
my cheek when writing it...
