Sailors and power boaters...
I have observed over many years that, were we to make generalisations, power
boaters tend to identify themselves as more "conservative," whilst sailors tend to think of themselves as more "liberal." I know what my observations have been but I wonder what others here might think. Most sincerely, W.T. Hatch |

If the powerboats start showing biased tendencies, a quick blip with Mr Bennett's good trim tabs will put them back on an even keel. My port side (left) engine runs a few degrees hotter however. |

As a stinkpotter, (and darn proud of it), I'm sure that most people who know me would consider me an extreme conservative. Yup, just me and the Constitution runnin' against the wind. :-) |

Yup. Us power boaters, like Republicans, pay our own way,
and don't expect to get home otherwise. Ragbaggers, like Democrats, are always looking for some thing for nothing, and just expect to get helped along for free. I rigged a sail on my power boat ... damn am I becoming a Democrat?
Are there any pills I can take? I know, next I will be wanting the government to pay for them. ;-) |

Rely on the government = rely on the wind? Interesting thought.

Question: do powerboaters not use diesel gensets? And if so, do they not

Capt. Bill,
I have just been reading the NG and following the example set by the regulars. If you don't like the drivel I post, you need to let people know that it is not acceptable. As long as the majority of regulars like to clutter the NG with drivel this is what you get. "LaBomba182" wrote in message ... Subject: Sailors and power boaters...
