![]() "Captain Marvel of Woodstock" wrote in message ... Our future is here. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/health/he...njections.html Government calls it rationed heath care, although they will never admit it. You don't think politicially connected live by those rules, it is for the masses! Once they raise your taxes to 50% and beyond, you can't afford the alternatives. Happens in Canada too, their primary purpose is to contain the costs of services and services become rationed by chair mushrooms you don't know. No realistic alternative for most. And even with government care, most have "supplimentry" additional costs as government does cover many things. Government will use this an excuse to raise taxes, and skim a portion of the taxes towards GM, banks and other corrupt endeavors and full health care value will never be seen. The government needs your money and will use health care against you to raise and sell the idea of increased taxation. Government has this all figured out. |

From page 7 of the referenced document: "Physical activity and exercise " Consider offering a structured exercise programme tailored to the person: This should comprise up to a maximum of eight sessions over a period of up to 12 weeks. Offer a group supervised exercise programme, in a group of up to 10 people. A one-to-one supervised exercise programme may be offered if a group programme is not suitable for a particular person. Manual therapy " Consider offering a course of manual therapy, including spinal manipulation, comprising up to a maximum of nine sessions over a period of up to 12 weeks. Invasive procedures " Consider offering a course of acupuncture needling comprising up to a maximum of 10 sessions over a period of up to 12 weeks. " Do not offer injections of therapeutic substances into the back for non-specific low back pain." ***Note the last sentence. Perhaps you should not be so quick with your judgement. *** More at: http://www.nice.org.uk/nicemedia/pdf...delineWord.doc or, http://guidance.nice.org.uk/CG88/Nic...ce/pdf/English -- John H |

Especially since they may not agree with your political views. We've a couple folks like that here. Harry and jps come to mind. Shoot the messenger. -- John H |

We've a couple folks like that here. Harry and jps come to mind. Shoot the messenger. In this case, it is probably OK to at least shoot at the messenger. The term, "shooting the messenger" was about shooting the messenger simply because he was bearing unwelcome news. It was always assumed that this was wrong because the messenger had no agenda and he got whacked purely because of content. You must consider the purpose of these news outlets.... they *sell* news and pander to their audience to do so effectively, some more than others. IMHO, don't trust ANY of them, but try to listen to all of them. Then YOU decide what is true. You won't find reality at The Telegraph or KOS, but with enough information you can make an informed guess at what *is* the truth. Pardon me. I was under the impression you'd brushed them off before becoming at all informed. -- John H |
