Here you guys are talking about fun on the bikes, and I'm sitting in a hot garage retorquing head bolts and adjusting valves on mine. When have you seen me against everything conservative and for everything liberal? What I see is you not accepting our opinions as even valid.. Myself, if you look back, I have been mostly asking questions. Like "What is the real difference between death panels, and end of life panels". Never did get an answer. Also never go an answer as to what you call a group of 20 odd unrelated govt officials if not a "panel"? Anyway, gotta' go find me a new bee suit. I have a bit of an issue at the other home. The tenants are not happy ![]() You can't have an acceptable opinion when it's based on lies. And I would say the same about your side... But what are really lies and what the MSM says are lies are really very different. Take the whole debacle over the words "death panel".. Obama called it an "end of life panel" so the fuss was really a red herring, a lie as it were... But what the lie is is that conservatives have told you and John that this is all to get old people to kill themselves, etc. Nothing could be further from the truth. The truth is, they want people to be aware of choices in what direction their health care takes, whether they want to keep on living through ventilators, etc. and if they have all of the necessary affairs taken care of. What in hell is wrong with that? The panel they are putting into the equation... Like I said before, we did it with a couple of close friends, a doctor and a lawyer... Cost us about $300 bucks.. The beaurocracy being proposed would turn this into thousands. I mean, twenty some odd people and organizations all involved... Talk about waste and abuse... You have something against a humongously overbloated government? You sound like you'd like to see some efficiency in government. HA! -- John H So now it's about waste NOT about the lie about killing old people? |

Yeah, but yours is a "real" bike. It burps, it doesn't sing soprano like ours ![]() And I'm finished. The nice thing about the older (20 years) Guzzis is that they're easy to work on. Retorquing the heads and adjusting the valves took all of about three hours. It's even running! -- John H Sweet! |
