Courtesy has nothing to do with it. There is a contract. Let's hope the government lives up to its obligations under it. She might be eligible to participate in her union plan after retirement. Those on Medicare paid in a lot of money during their working years. If they had put money into an tax free plan, they could afford most any insurance plan on the market. That approx 3% of every earned income dollar adds up to a lot of dollars. |
