I haven't been paying much attention to the program, but I was under the
impression that only the motor had to be destroyed, that the body could
be parted. Although, I would guess, with the glut in the market, they
might just crush them.

How? The CARS program requires that the vehicles be destroyed in their
entirety.

I dont' realy know, but I thought there was an option of stripping it
of anything usable in a period of 180 days then it had to be crushed.

the fact that they'd run it better than the current system which costs
1.5 trillion a year...twice as much as any other country....and
doesn't cover unemployed workers.
