Nope, Armitage outed the agent to Novak. At least read a little before spewing out. You are the one who want's to assure that nobody is called guilty until convicted, but I guess when it comes to repubs you can call them "traitor who outed a CIA agent" because he is a republican, even though he got convicted of providing false information, that's all. Now if you want to convict someone of outing CIA agents, let's have an investigation into the recent activity by the ACLU following real covert agents home, photographing them and their families, and showing them to prisoners and admitted AlQueda agents at Gitmo. And before you deflect, please go to their page and read the admission in their own words. OJ is innocent even though he was found responsible in court, but Scooter is guilty of "treason" even though he didn't get convicted of anything near that.. Man, your double standard showing... ... I don't know, but 7 broken promises compared to 7 pages of kept or in the works promises, seems pretty high in the credibility department. You folks are simply amazing. How so? These are facts. Never mind. So 7 is ok.. I will be sure to teach my kids that...snerk Here we are and all along I thought one was bad... -- Wafa free since 2009 I don't believe he said that 7 was ok. He said that the comparision is remarkable. -- Nom=de=Plume |

... Not really. I'm making a direct comparison, which is certainly a reasonable thing to do. Claiming it's Bush Rationale isn't much of a logical argument, since it can be interpreted many different ways. Justifying Obama's actions by comparing to Bush's actions is making use of the 'Bush Rationale'. Don't feel bad. You're in great company. Harry approves. I can't speak for other people, but I'm not justifying any actions. I'm making a direct comparison. At the end of 8 (I'm hopeful) years, we can compare the records more completely. For now, there are some obvious comparisons possible. -- Nom=de=Plume |

Take a look at this, seems he's actually doing a pretty damned good job of keeping his promises: http://politifact.com/truth-o-meter/promises/browse/ So, a few little lies here and there shouldn't taint a mans status?.. Tell me again why Scooter Libby went to jail again for forgetting one date, years earlier? Double standard... In the scheme of things, I'm impressed with Obama's work and follow-through. FYI, Scooter didn't spend a day in jail. Convicted and walking around to this day. What he did was treason in my and others' opinion. Cheney was probably at the center of it. Even Bush couldn't stomach actually pardoning Scooter, for which I give his $0.01 credit. Go back and check the facts of that whole episode and you will find that no crime was committed. Libby was caught in a purgery trap due to his own arrogance and hubris. |
