Sure is easy for you to morph from nuclear power to city's poor. Another
tactic to distract from the facts?

The 'morphing' was from problem solving to problem solving. I think
maybe you exercised the scissors again.

You can't seem to stay focused. We were talking about nukes and previously
clunkers, then you attempted a strawman argument about inner-city poor.

The real solution is to stop eating so much meat. That would have an
immediate and positive effect. The other things take years.

LOL, but I don't think you meant that as a joke. The liberal 'that
takes years' excuse has been in use for years. It's getting old.

Certainly no joke. Cows and such make up the bulk of the greenhouse gas
problem. Besides, the conditions that they are raised in are horrible. Who
would want to eat a cow after visiting a traditional stockyard? Someone once
said that it's better for the environment to eat a veggie burger in a Hummer
than a burger in a Prius.

Do you believe that putting a significant number of new nuke plants online
is going to happen in less than a decade?

Not that moving people from eating so much meat is fast process either, but
the benefits are much greater and not just for oil consumption.

Hate to break it to you, but most of the usable parts of the clunkers were
salvaged before the shredding. There was some loss to the secondary car
sales market, since they were removed from the mix.

Not around here. Whole cars were shredded and loaded into hopper cars
destined for China.

In that case, they threw out stuff that they didn't need to do according to
the regs.

All decisions, even those made by liberals, are the result of binary thinking.

Careful. That's too close to witch. I might be offended, given I'm a
liberal.

No. The point is that Obama's administration has put into place a lot more
accountability.

ROTFLOL.... Right, accountability!? That's funny...

It's not a complete solution or even a good partial solution. It takes
years to build power plants, and there's always the spent fuel problem.

Every day you delay the building of nuclear plants is another day the
citizens of the USA are sending money overseas for energy or burning coal
and oil.

True enough.

When are you going to get serious about the actual problems.

When are you going to stop talking about the problem and start taking
action.

It will cost you three or four times as much in energy to replace the
animal protein with plant protein.
