From his column of 9/29/09:
"President Obama refused Friday to commit to more troops or a draw-down in Afghanistan. He's not ready to address it yet. He believes we must show great patience on Afghanistan, however we must hurry up on health care reform because people are dying." |

IOW you're a right wing fanatic and don't understand that your view, for 8 years, has led nowhere in afghanistan, so it's time to change strategy uh...OK... |

Something like 45K people die every year in the US because of lack of healthcare. I'm pretty sure he can do two things at once though.. -- Nom=de=Plume |

If you use the 'jobs saved' type of reasoning, you could say that anyone who died in a given year did so because of lack of healthcare. If I'm not mistaken, 'bama saved almost two million jobs just today. -- John H |

Reminds me of the ship's officer of the deck who entered in its log: "The captain was drunk in quarters today." When the captain read the entry, he threatened the officer with a fate worse than death if he ever wrote a falsehood like that again. The next day, the captain was really beside himself when he read in the log: "Captain was not drunk in quarters today." |

It's a huge problem that we don't see mentioned much in the media... probably don't want to frighten people. -- Nom=de=Plume |
