I was out one day and saw a sign that said, "Republicans register to vote here." There was a table with sports drinks and energy bars. I talked to the guy, he's a homeless guy who was picked up by the local Republican party and paid for each vote he brings in. Do you register Democrats? "We throw them out, we don't get paid for them." I asked him if he turns in any phonies for extra pay. "Ya, we all do it. They pay by the day and don't have time to check them all." I should have videoed it and put it on Youtube. There is a lot of well documented fraud on the Republican side. http://articles.latimes.com/2008/oct...cal/me-fraud20 "The firm was paid $7 to $12 for every Californian it registered as a member of the GOP." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O06XCUNSEmg Paying for Republican voters, geez. Why not bitch about that? |
