Not going to bother with the pink army any more. If Donnie or slammer
want a piece they will have to come out from under their desks first..
Also note, anybody reposting their tripe will also be plonked for a
week
at at time. Anyway, talk to you all later, on the way to the
hospital to
see Bri.

Rowdy Mouse Racing, Get better soon #42. #271, #148.. it's been a tough
season...

Who's Bri?

I will not repost anything like that.

Brianna Patton, #42 NEMA was injured Monday when her, my daughter and
a couple of others were working on the 65 footer. She has a broken leg
but no other injuries. The shock sensor in her helmet didn't go off
and speaking to her seconds after the crash, she showed no signs of
head trauma. Bri and Jessi had been looking at that jump all season
and Bri finally hit it a few times. Later in the day she swamped out
on the landing and hit the knee brace on the bars snapping her leg.
They didn't want to drive her out in the ambulance as the access road
is kind of sketchy so they called for the airbus... The operation went
well and Bri is hoping to be back up and running by mid February. Here
is the news story, I am the guy in the red gear behind her about 44
seconds in, you can see "The Mouse" pop out from behind me at about 46
seconds. Jessi was just gearing up to try the jump but of course our
day was cut short and we loaded up the bikes and headed to the
hospital.

It has been a tough go for our team the last few weeks, Jessi tore up
her shoulder last race, she may need an operation later this fall. I
should note, all of the girls are anxious to get back to the
season...

Rowdy Mouse Racing, no crybabies...

Hey Plume.. Did you figure out what "Tosk" is yet?

When one of these kids is killed on that track, morons like Scott
Ingersoll will figure out a way to praise her courage or riding
abilities, anything but address the fact that this is really dangerous
business.

Ingersoll's daughter should be doing her homework, studying for college
entrance exams, anything but risking her young life on activities that
give her irresponsible father a woodie.

Some folks need danger and excitement and a good adrenalin rush to make
them feel alive. On the other end of the spectrum there are the
ball-less wimps like Harry Krause. Most people fall somewhere between
the two extremes.
Krause can't live with himself unless he criticizes everyone that
doesn't meet his narrow range of criteria for how their lives should be
led.

Has nothing to do with danger and excitement. These kids have strict
work ethics, and play hard, that's all. None of them wants to be hurt,
but they know it's possible.. Remember, Harry Krause has no problem
playing with handguns in the basement while his landlord is upstairs
or with grown men having sex with girls as young as 10 years old.
Harry Krause is a convicted pedophile, he has no place discussing
child abuse...

Yeah, I was the on site guardian for Bri and her brother that day, I
am the one in the red gear... Brownish hair... Bri is 14 years old.
Yeah, I liked it better when the kids just rode, but Jessi got the
racing bug and has been non stop ever since. These kids are serious,
straight arrow kids. They scoff at their peers who spend their days
smoking dope and having "relations".. They have no time for that with
school work and working on the machines. Great kids from great
families, great fun on weekends. Our motocross family is the most
dedicated and honorable team I have ever been with...

It's not my kinda sport I guess.

Never would have thought it would have been mine either. It is pretty
scarey, but no more than another parent watching their kid playing
Hockey, Football, or the Equine sports my other girls do, with lots
less gear I should add...

And, no... haven't given it much thought. Do you just want to tell me?

As for Tosk, it's a character from an old Star Trek episode. Being
Tosk however, that is all I can say

REPLY: Well, it's good for that age to have/keep their self-esteem. Girls
tend to lose that as they get to be full-fledged teens.

REPLY: All sports have dangerous elements. I was in track in HS, and I got
injured a number of times. I also played sand-lot volley ball. Got smashed
in the side of my head by our own server once... completely took me out...
woke up in the hospital with a concussion and sand embedded in my ear drum.

Oh, don't discourage him, it's become amusing to watch him snap and
yip like a small dog lurking in the dark behind a fence, putting on
an
act, and thinking that the world at large actually cares about his
views or problems.

Hope Bri is gonna be OK,
