It's amazing what you can do with plant genetics nowadays and
desalinization is what irrigates Isreal in some places.

Admittedly, making olives on a fig tree would be a little strange.

Just sayin'... :)
Why would you want to grow olives on a fig tree when an olive tree does
a fine job? Just cuz you could?

Of course. Why did Hillary (Edmond - not Clinton) climb Everest? Why
did Yeager break the sound barrier? Why did Columbus sail the oceans
blue? Why did the chicken cross the road? Why did I get up, drain
the vein and walk down to my office to suffer through back spasms by
looking at the computer and particularly rec.boats at 0144? Because
they, and I, can.

Why does one strive to achieve glory, honor and praise? Because one
can. Why does anybody do anything? Because they can.

Figs are much better than olive anyway. Leave their producers alone!

I don't give a fig. Speaking of which, did you know that technically,
a fig is not a fruit but a flower?

I love marigolds in salad.

Marigolds are sometimes used in place of saffron curiously enough.

It's surprizing, and something you wouldn't ordinarily think of, the
number of flowers that are edible.

Well, I sure can't afford saffron, marigolds will have to do.

If anyone would like a few photos of Tosk showing him as he actually is,
just let me know...I'll be glad to email them directly to you.

Hey, Harry, I asked my friend to drive by your house, he said you were
in your driveway. His question was "why do you want to bother with a
fat old slob like that"?

What's The Freak crying about?
He includes his picture numerous times on his Smallboats.com site.
Maybe those distant memories of actually building something are just too
painful to remember.- Hide quoted text -

The argument might require some retooling in light of modern
technology. :)

True.

(And an argument can be made, at least in the philosophical sense,
that extrinsic manipulation is irrelevent.)

Also true.

Still, the gist of it shouldn't be beyond Harry's grasp.

Wanna bet? *:)

"Oversized". This jealous statement brought to you by the very person
that lied and tried to get everyone to believe he had a 36' Zimmerman
like lobster boat!
