Default Lowered expectations

I have been waiting for a 3 day weather window to sail from here to
Clearwater. It is a 28 hour sail but to be safe I figure I need 3
days. Aint gonna happen. So, I am now looking for a two day window
to sail 86 miles to Cedar Key followed by another window to make the
12 hour sail to Tarpon Springs and then a 6 hour sail to Clearwater.

If you're planning to sail all the way you'll need to take off just
after a frontal passage as the big north westerly is settling in.
That means you'll be honking along in 20+ kts of wind but at least
it'll be coming from behind you. Fatigue, seasickness and
accidental jibes are the big issues on a long hard run like that.

All I wanted today was a temp in the mid- to high-30's and little
wind. I got an inch of snow, mid-twenties, and 15mph winds. Not good
for golfing.

really matter. Is it time for my annual charity beg-a-thon?

Thanks, Harry. I'd forgotten all about the Race for the Cure.

It will be on May 8, in Richmond. My daughter hasn't established her
team site yet, but I'll let you know when she does.

We both greatly appreciated your support last year. Thanks again.

Hey, I have never contributed to any charity, will you make it 2 for 1
if I decide I can give up beer for a week, and contribute my beer money
to Cancer research? If my son stops drinking, i could triple my
contribution.

Is Margaret your mommy and your boss?
No wonder she's cut your hours back at Elite...you're an embarassment to the
company and the family, both at the same time.
