Finished the specs for the new smokehouse.
Cinder block, per our previous discussion. Works out to 4550 lbs total on a 100 sq ft slab, and 31 psi max on the loading. I need the concrete mix specs you promised for the foundation. Meet me at the "the other place.' |

Disregard this if you received my voice message, text message or twitter tweet or I run into you at "the other place." I put this "disregard" on the voice message, text message and tweet, but forgot to put it here. Don't know where you'll see it first. Of course if I happen to run into you at "the other place" first, I'll let you know right there to disregard the voice message, text message, tweet, and this posting. Sorry for any confusion. It gets complicated. |

Meet me at the "the other place.' snerk Cinder block? snerk Standard size CMU's weigh 50+ pounds each. 4550 pounds would add up to less than 100 CMU's that measure 8x8x16. If you're placing them on a 100 square foot slab, you're going to have an awfully low smokehouse, since it would take about 30 CMUs to make up a single wythe wall that does the perimeter. And if you're using Loogy as a consultant, well... snerk Of course, if you're just spoofing here...Loogy's your man/boy. |
