My old Dell laptop is getting unreliable, and it's not worth fixing.
Thinking about a new laptop, and want some views about the Mac laptop lineup. Are they more physically robust? Thinking about shock resistance, and water/moisture resistance. I'm guessing the Macs will handle all the common nav software, but maybe not. All help appreciated. Boaters only, please. Because it's solely for boat use. |

Found this, http://www.stealthcomputer.com/pb_po....php?comp=NW1K Looks good and price is within my range. Anybody here using one of these? The specs don't give graphics capability. Will it run YouTube videos and handle Windows 7 animated solitaire? |

We got our grand daughter a Disney (Asus) hardened kid notebook that looks pretty tough. It already spent a night out on the yard in the rain and survived. The one we got has a solid state drive so there are no moving parts. This machine is 1.6 gz. I assume they make a more capable one in a similar case. Pff lease advert I received. http://www.compusa.com/applications/...ords=off+lease |
