*You* are a contributor to the problem. You have no medical insurance,

when you go to the hospital, we get stuck holding the bag for you.

Isn't that what socialized medical care is all about? I thought you
were
an advocate of it.

You are misinformed, grasshopper. It is SnottyScotty's hypocrisy I find
offensive.

Grasshopper? Man, you must be a lot older than I thought. Ancient even.

I thought so, but when I went down to the marina today, I helped a
couple of guys lift the ass end of a motorless boston whaler onto 8x8
wood blocks. I didn't die during the lifting, so I can't be as old as
you thought.

The local watercops, by the way, apparently traded in their old whaler
pursuit boat for a zodiac pursuit boat. Alas, they bought it with an
etec 250, so...they'll be doing no more patrolling than they did with
the old whaler, which also had an etec...and which spent a *lot* of time
in the nearby repair shoppe! :)

I don't want to pay for *what*? SnottyScotty's health care? I'm already
paying for it. My wife and have have health insurance. We both pay for it.
We also both work.

How "republican" of you.

Yuck.

Not working is, well, kinda boring, eh? I mean, you retired and now
you're unretired. You didn't unretire yourself because you needed the
bucks. I have a friend who is 77 and still one of the smartest
rainmakers in institutional investing. He retired, but his employer
hired him back as a consultant three days a week. My father in law is
the same way...he retired, and now devotes two weekdays and Sundays to
his charitable work, and three weekdays to working as a consultant in
his old profession, for the railroads. He's 76. I'm pretty sure I'll
never entirely retire. I think when you do, your mind begins to ossify.

You say socialized as though it's a dirty word. It isn't. It's about
helping our neighbors. It's about lowering our costs and improving
outcomes. It's about caring for someone besides ourselves. It's about a
civilized society... socialism-society. I wonder... could those words be
related???

Socialism, in the context of this discussion, relates to an economic or
political theory, not a "be a good neighbor" program. But that's not the
issue. I find it ironic that Harry has regularly preached the virtues of a
socialized medical care system yet complains loudly about someone who may
need to benefit by it.

You *still* don't get it. I wouldn't give a damn if someone as
incompetent as SnottyScotty openly benefited from a federal health care
program. My objection is to his hypocrisy about it.

I paid for my health care, had to work with them to get the bill to a
workable number, like the one the insurance companies would have paid
them, and took care of it. there is no reason to respond to this ****er
as he slanders me and others, all day, every day. I guess you and Tim
feel it's ok as he doesn't attack you all day. How democrat of you...

Either way, there is still no good reason to repeat the utter bull****
Harry spews here, thanks. Either way, for Harry to call anybody a
hypocrite is funny beyond belief. The fact that there are folks out
there that will keep coming back to address this asshole while the rest
of us are here every day trying to ignore the asshole, is screwed too.
How would you all like it if I spent the day talking to someone who was
saying the kind of stuff he says about our families, to and about yours
on the internet all day long, every ****ing day?

Scotty

1. Middleman money. Another of Scotty's delusional lies.

2. The offer of help was made about two years ago, long before your
recent hospital stay, and had nothing to do with a hospital stay. It was
offered to help you get some needed medications at absolutely no cost.
So, that's lie number two in your post. Why you would think there is
"money to be made" helping someone get meds for free is beyond
comprehension.

3. You are an irresponsible, unemployed, unemployable lowlife of a liar
who pretends to be a self-sufficent standard bearer of the Republican
party for reasons that are beyond comprehension. Hey, if you are
disabled and unable to work, just say so, and stop being a typical
teabagger who whines about government and sucks down all of it he can
manage.

4. You claim to filter my posts, but you don't. First, I don't think you
know how. Second, you post defenses too often. Third, you don't like
these posts because they pull you up by your shorthairs, over and over
and over and over.

5. See 3, above.
