Thanks, that is probably coming up in less than 2 weeks. Please
don't interrupt your "day job" for my projects however, especially if
this is your busy season. You gotta make hay while the sun shines and
we're getting by OK at the moment.

Wayne, as far as I'm concerned, your 'projects' are part of my day job.

Yes, especially if boats are involved.

Congratulations Tim.

True, Wayne. She put up with buying and collecting bass guitars for
years,. i think she simply tolorated (for the most part) my addiction.
But it seems this is something she can get in to.

Pontoon boats are great for taking out large numbers of friends and
family so she'll probably like that aspect of it also.

We'll be heading back over towards St Croix in the next couple of
weeks so if you'd like me to do some more "alternator testing", we
have an opportunity coming up. :-) I've changed some of my
procedures a little to make sure that I don't get both sets of golf
cart batteries charging at the same time.

Best way to get in touch is at my winlink EMAIL address.

Well, the wife is really getting excited over the pontoon. I jsut wish
we could have some decent weekend weather to take it out. It's hard to
do right now because of the ever threat of rain and I'm tied up with
the farming season repairs even on Saturday. You gotta get it while
you can.

This is changing my whole course of action seeing I was wanting to
outfit the 23' Marquis, because I think she wants to take the barge on
the river cruise because of it's spaciousness and stability, not
counting and easier ride.

So she couldn't stand it any longer and went shopping for an air
matress. I find that hard to imagine because it looks like she wants
to camp on the float instead of finding a place to park the thing and
get a motel. So, she's already purchased an air matress, and I have
ideas on making a better canopy top instead of the bimini. Something
with side curtains that can be rolled down (Think PBR, John!) with
netting in windows.

Then comes the loads of batteries which the Johnsos 10a. Stator won't
handle to charge effectively, so I have some ideas on making a small
DC generator, or I might go AC and use an inverter for a charger. Too
much other stuff to think about for the moment.

This is going to be interesting though.

And oh yes, Wayne. We'll get together on some ideas when you make it
to St. Croix.

What's PBR?
