....went fishing today on Yo-Ho...gusty winds and the resultant chop made
it interesting. Didn't catch a damned thing, but wasn't trying very hard...

went to beach haven, nj on Friday getting ready for maintenance on the
boat...

had to install new exhaust hose...$2/ft...10 feet of the stuff. but
looked at the old stuff and it was 1 boat ride away from failure...

always makes you feel good when you do the work on your own, and it's
significant improvement

most boats weren't in water yet...marina guy says about another
month...marina was quiet except for the sounds of work crews. one guy
was having a bow thruster installed...can only imagine what THAT costs

but it was gusty...15-20 kt winds...good day to stay on board and
work!

fair seas, harry

Bad day a fishing is better than a good day at work.

I assembled my new bimini this weekend and marked where I will mount
supports on the boat.
They supplied self tapping screws but think I'll pick up some ss #8 bolts
and locknuts for the job.

Good choice. Make sure you grind the ends of the bolts flush to the
nuts or you will regret it.
