....few sporting events are duller to watch than pro soccer or pro
football, U.S.-style, the latter being little more than NASCAR racing in sneakers, with bits of action filling in between the commericals. |

If you didn't grow up with it and you're not a fan of soccer, it's unlikely you'd understand its allure. In my estimation, it's the most free flowing and creative of professional team sports. |

I'm sure you are right. Soccer to me looks like a great game to play, but it sure seems boring to watch. Thousands of kids around here and everywhere else, I bet, are involved in school and after school soccer, and if they didn't like it, they'd be doing something else. |

One thing I like over hockey is that they don't have the commercial breaks and stoppages all the time. I tune in to the World Cup while doing my treadmill and BowFlex exercises and the time passes fast... if I'm watching normal programming, I'm constantly reaching for the remote to mute commercials. Today I saw the first half of Greece & Nigeria. |

My BowFlex Ultimate has been in three different rooms of my house, and the wife is planning to evict it from the back room where it sits now. |
