Later this summer a hurricane hits somewhere. FEMA orders an evac.
Later after all is clear, FEMA refuses to allow anybody back in to
repair damaged roofs thus causing small amounts of damage to become so
severe that the private insurance industry goes under.

Well, it is likely that a hurricane will hit "somewhere" this season.

Insurance often invests the money. Doubtful that ther reserves are in
good shape.

Nope, but he is pretty busy stealing from Americans by racking up the debt.

One good thing abput this, is when Spain, Ireland, UK, Germany, Japan,
Canada, US, and some others all go bankrupt, a new world law on
government and debt might get passed that forbids federal governments
from borrowing money.

Lets put it this way, I am not waiting until hurricanes hit the US to
divest my few remaining investments in the US. Since 2006, democrat
congress has bankrupted the US, and Obama keeps on spending money the US
does not have. Just a bigger hole.
