guess you missed the part that the rich get a 3.8% tax cut

the middle class? 1.5%.

this is why the economy collapsed. the middle class gets zip. we cant
spend because the weatlhy keep taking more and more.

try looking at the figures yourself. *a guy making 50K gets 772 in tax
cuts. a person making a million gets far far more.

Wrong. The family making 50k got a 48% reduction in taxes. All of
the other giveaways are phased out by the time you hit $200k or so.
You just don't want to see (or are incapable of seeing?) the big
picture. But you are a good parrot of the liberal lies.

ah. i see you don't know how to do percentages

a guy making 50K gets a tax cut of 772. that's 1.5% of income

the guy making a million gets a tax cut of 38,000...that's 3.8%

read it and weep.

The top 20% of taxpayers have a larger tax liability under the Bush
tax cuts than they did before the cuts. The bottom 80% all have a
smaller tax liability. And within that top 20%, the top 5% is the
only segment who's liability went up, meaning if you made $136k or
less your liability stayed the same or went down. So, the top 5%
shoulders a larger percentage of the tax burden after the cuts than
before the cuts.

See table 4 at http://www.taxfoundation.org/news/show/323.html

The top 20% pays 81% of the taxes, and the top 5% pays 60%. Stop your
whining.

the FACT is that the wealthy get a BIGGER tax cut under bush than the
middle class does.

i just gave you the figures AND the reference. where are YOUR numbers?

The bottom 80% all have a
smaller tax liability.

actually they dont the ultrawealthy have a 15% tax rate, and, with
write off and deductions have cut their tax liablity in half over the
past 10 years.

And within that top 20%, the top 5% is the
only segment who's liability went up, meaning if you made $136k or
less your liability stayed the same or went down. So, the top 5%
shoulders a larger percentage of the tax burden after the cuts than

and they should. their incomes went up 500% in the past 30 years. the
middle class had NO increase at all. none.

they SHOULD pay...plus they engineered this disaster. let them pay

you right wingers just love to defend the rich. they **** us like
we're $2 whores, but in your mind, the middle class is nothing more
than sheep to be slaughtered

See table 4 at http://www.taxfoundation.org/news/show/323.html

The top 20% pays 81% of the taxes, and the top 5% pays 60%. Stop your

more rightwing bull****

james surowiecki, writing in the august 16 issue of 'the new yorker'
points out the following:

-between 2002 and 2006 the bottom 99% of incomes grew 1.3% per year in
real terms
-the top 1% grew TEN PERCENT A YEAR in the same timeframe
-the top 1% has seen its share of national income double
-the richest 1% has 23% of the nation's income
-the richest 0.1% has seen their income TRIPLE in 5 years
-the richest 0.1% earn as much as the BOTTOM ONE HUNDRED TWENTY
MILLION PEOPLE

so you right wingers sit here defending the rape of the middle class
while spouting your bull**** about how rough the rich have it.

you're ****ing idiots. really

well let's see...the middle class guy earning 50K gets a 1.4% tax cut.
the millionaire making 1M gets a 3% tax cut

If that is a middle class family with kids they got twice as good a
deal.

sorry sport. i compare apples to apples.

No you are cherry picking out one number that makes your point. You
don't think people with kids deserve a break?

uh no. unless you want me to post a jpg of the entire chart here. i
picked 1 number because it was the median middle class income vs the
millionaires.

yep they will go up. but they're going up anyhow. the wealthy will see
to that. you dont think they're ever going to pay their fair share, do
you?

I am willing to go back to the Clinton era tax rates where you think
the world was perfect. There is no making you happy is there?

you mean when we had full employment and a balanced budget??

uh...yeah. i'll take those days vs bush's depression era economics.

I still think that may be the best option if you really think the
Clinton era was so great.
I notice you didn't get a raise then either. It was great for that guy
with the $6000 umbrella stand tho. Bush put him in jail.

nope i didnt get a raise. me and the entire middle class

but the right ignores THAT little bit of fact

I never ignored that, You are the one who seems to think everything
bad in your life is GW Bush's fault.

and you think it's the fault of the black president.

Actually, it is right wing bull****, as evidenced by the slant of its
recent news releases:

* Corporate Tax Incentives Not As Costly As Opponents Claim, August
3, 2010

* Repealing Manufacturing Deduction for Oil Companies Won’t Level
Playing Field, August 2, 2010

* State and Federal Tax Collections on Oil Industry Exceed Oil
Industry Profits, July 27, 2010

The Tax Foundation is a corporate shill.

the rich don't pay taxes...the middle class does.

and most of the tax cuts go for the rich. in spite of the fact their
incomes ROCKETED up by 500% in the last 37 years while the middle
class has had ZERO

to you this is proof the rich are blessed of god and the mddle class
is lazy.
