John, I understand perfectly well the thrill of watching a big fish
rise to a well cast bait, take the hook, run with it, jump around and
make big splashing noises. *There's really nothing quite like it,

opportunities ample.

Nicely done. * Things were kind of slow around here for a while.

To have considered that non-religious post 'bait', the fish must have
been either starving for something (attention?) or just plain stupid.

Perhaps you'll grace us with a post of someone reciting the lord's
prayer and then try to convince those who are capable of thinking that
doing so was not "religious."

I would think a recitation of The Lord's Prayer as a religious activity.

Don't you normally capitalize the title of a work?

Or was that an attempt at 'anti-religion'?

Or were you referring to something other than The Lord's Prayer?

I suppose you'd consider this a religious post also?

sometimes i do, sometimes I don't. it's a little silly and presumptuous,
by the way, to call that prayer "the lord's prayer," since no one has
ever met "the lord," or can even prove there is one, or, is there is
one, whether he or she would appreciate or even accept such a prayer.

if i were the lord, i'd be reciting a prayer that said, "thank me for
finishing with *that* planet in seven days so i could move on to a
planet with more worthy inhabitants."

You probably wouldn't believe how much I value you opinion on matters like this.

I wonder if 'Little Red Riding Hood' was about a real girl who talked to a wolf,
or was it just a silly little bit of presumption?

BTW, you missed the rest of the post...

Or was that an attempt at 'anti-religion'?

Or were you referring to something other than The Lord's Prayer?

I'm sure you do wonder.

Hey, I'm just watching this newsgroup return to the pile of **** it was
for several years...keep on keeping on. Why not post a few anti-Obama
racist jokes while you are at it, and get your right wing buddies to
ho-ho-ho along with you. I'm sure you'll get the usual suspects to go
along with you.

Yes, I know it doesn't look like I'm watching because I keep posting
replies like this one, but I want you to know that I AM WATCHING you and
all your right wing buddies turning this newsgroup back to the pile of
**** it was for several years.

I am watching. Really, I am watching.
