Hi,

I'm a newbie to the group; glad I found it! My dad just gave me a
'61 Starcraft Aluminum boat/trailer, 18hp Johnson, closed bow. Not a
clue as to what model it is and don't see an ID plate anywhere.

Looks to be a 14-15 footer and it is in GREAT shape, with the
exception of the bow and gunnels that need paint real bad, and the
seats are about destroyed. The hull is near mint, so I can just wax
and buff that out.

Anyone have any experience with these? Anyone have any good links to
vendors that service these boats? Looking to restore it completely.

My experience has been a '67 28' Chris Cavalier (wood), so this little
fishing boat is a new experience for me.
