Obviously the inmates have taken over the asylum.

I skipped about 1950 of the posts that got through my filters since the
last time I was marooned here, but of the remainder, it is obvious:

1. that no matter how hard he tries to convince us otherwise, Scott Tosk
Ingersoll is pretty much the lowest of the low here.

2. that though Herring tries to convince us he is not a racist, he
recommends we listen to racist, red-neck ignorant songs. When he's not
doing that, he's recommending gooey pseudo patriotic schmaltz* songs

3. that the ID spoofers are still active and disruptive

4. that another bunch of morons or perhaps the same morons as the ID
spoofers are acting like juvenile delinquents

5. that boating posts here are not even an afterthought

6. that there's an undercurrent of blood lost among those I thought
would know better (the pirate situation)

I'll check in again in a couple of weeks, to see if any responsible
adult posters are present.

I have no idea about Paul's inferiority complex, but he does have
blinders on when it comes to his and his friends behavior. They do the
exact same thing he accuses everyone else of doing.

I really do think someone should do their PhD Thesis on "The Complex
Interpersonal Relationships as Displayed in Usenet Newsgroups and their
Relationship with Mental Illness". It would be one hell of a funny
book.

There's certainly a lot of original source material available right
here. Unfortunately it's not just in rec.boats however. Tale a look
in the comments section after various news articles. There seems to
be something about the internet and its perception of anonymity that
brings out a lot of hidden hostility. The groups that manage to
maintain a modicum of civility are all heavily moderated.

Yes, but I am not sharing them with all of these low rent right wingers
who have taken over rec.boats.

As I said, not only is my boat better, but my water is better also. It
is crystal clear and can as clean as distilled water. Plus, all the
woman on board my boat are between the ages of 18 and 29, and have a
body fat index below 15%. All the woman are smart, beautiful, sexy,
young and they LOVE me and most importantly love to pamper and take care
of all of my needs.

Did I mention that my boat is bigger than your boat? Size matters.
