Just to add to the fun: Every week, I spend the following at Giant on our indoor pets: Petfood $ 30 Clean Litter $ 52 That's $82 a week x 4 weeks = $328. That's 328 of 1000 points. How many cats do you have? I'm guessing he has two? I spend about 1/2 that on food. I buy the litter in bulk and it lasts forever. I was just curious. I have a 100 pound dog and he only eats about $15 a month in food, plus whatever he gets from our meat scraps. I spend more on dog treats. Every good deed gets a "cookie". The up side to that is he is getting a lot more civilized. Not bad for a "3 time loser" at the pound. You must buy the kibble in bulk? He seems to do best on Costco "healthy weight" and that is about $18 a 40# bag. I have tried several other brands, including some real "foo foo" stuff the vet is pushing. I watch the intake and output to decide how he is doing. The ingredient list is pretty good too, I posted it here a while ago. Wow.. 40# would last Nicky about a year... well, maybe not that long. |

My cats won't go near the food the vets sell, especially the Hill's Prescription Diet, wet or dry. Our outdoor friends, the foxes, raccoons, possums, et cetera, all go for Purina Dog Chow, so we buy a couple of big bags of it for them each month. We also give them leftovers. A stand of forest a few miles away was just clearcut by a homebuilder/developer. That means a lot more critters are now homeless, and we'll probably see a few of them, the ones who aren't killed crossing the streets. |

One of the boys said, "well, prescriptions are not included." Except, the last time I got an Rx at Giant, the clerk asked me for my Giant Discount Card, saying that prescriptions "now" qualified. Previously, I had been told at that counter that "pharmacy items" did not qualify. Now, is it still the same...do prescriptions still qualify? I don't know. And prescriptions weren't the only items that were at first off and then on the qualification list. What does this tell you? Two things: Giant is flexible enough to change its programs to suit its needs, and that some of the boys here are overwhelmed by their own rigid personality disorders, and can't see the forest for the trees. But we already knew that. |

Harry takes in strays when he's not busy being clever and articulate. Nothing but the best for Harry's widdle puddy tats. That's right, w'hine. We take in stray kitties and give them a decent home, food, health care and affection. We also help human families who are going through hard times. I know *that* isn't the conservatrasher way to which your types adhere. And don't forget, you feed wild animals human food against the advice of anyone with a brain. Ask you vet. |

W'hine is just another of the right-wing assholes around here. Nothing more. The only difference is that W'hine made a few bucks in the corporate scam world and actually owns a boat. Most of the right-wing conservatrashers here are as boatless as they are brainless. You're boatless. You claimed I was because I didn't post a picture of my boat, funny, I don't see one of your alleged new boat. |
